06/29/10: I have posted my solutions for HW #5.
06/23/10: I have posted the rules-handout for the final exam. This will be provided to you in the final exam (in class, next Thursday, 7/1). I have also posted a sample final exam, which has the same basic structure as the actual final, and which we will go over in class on Thursday (6/24). Finally, HW #6 has been posted. It's due next Thursday (7/1) @ 4pm.
06/20/10: I have posted my solutions for HW #4 (with the shortest proofs I have seen).
06/18/10: I have made a handout on the decidability of LMPL-validity. This is not required material for the course, but some of you might be interested in it (if you're interested in pursuing more advanced topics in logic). I'll briefly discuss this in lecture on Tuesday.
06/17/10: HW #5 (due next Thursday 6/24 @ 4pm in the drop box) has been posted. And, I have also posted a new handout on "Working with LMPL Interpretations".
06/14/10: My solutions to HW #3 have been posted.
06/10/10: HW #4 (due next Thursday 6/17 @ 4pm in the drop box) and my solutions to HW #2 have both been posted.
06/03/10: I've posted new versions of lecture #6 and my "short method" handout, to reflect some changes I made during the lecture today.
06/03/10: HW #3 and the sample mid-term have both been posted. I will discuss the sample mid-term in class Thursday.
05/30/10: Two important announcements:
- (1) There will be no sections on Monday (due to the Memorial Day holiday). But, our GSIs will be holding extra sections this week. These are:
  - Justin will have extra office hours from 11-1 on Tuesday.
  - Richard will have extra office hours from 3:30-5 on Wednesday.
- (2) We will give you until Friday @ 5pm to turn in your HW #2's (so that you can also benefit from section on Friday).
05/28/10: Branden's office hours have been pushed back 1/2-hour, and are now from 4-5:30pm on Wednesdays.
05/27/10: I have posted HW #2, which is due next Thursday (6/3) by 4pm. Please consult the HW Tips & Guidelines handout for instructions on formatting (and some hints).
