12/15/11: I have posted my solutions for (1) HW #6, and (2) the practice final. I will post my solutions for HW #5 on Friday (since we extended the HW #5 resubs until midnight Thursday).
12/07/11: I have posted (1) the practice final, (2) the extra-credit assignment, and (3) the rules handout for the final.
11/28/11: I have posted my solutions to HW #4. HW #6 will be assigned on Wed. It will be due in two weeks (12/14). I will also be posting extra-credit problems (on 12/7), which will be due at the time of the final exam [12/21 @ 8am].
11/21/11: The will be no lecture or office hours on Monday 11/21 (Branden is ill). Remember that HW #5 and HW#4 resubmissions are due on Wed (11/23). Have a great Thanksgiving!
11/16/11: I have posted my solutions to the mid-term.
11/9/11: I have posted my solutions to homeworks 2 and 3. [I will post the solutions for HW #4 when its resubmissions have been turned-in.] I have also posted HW #5.
11/7/11: The main readings for Unit #4 (aside from my notes) have been posted.
11/2/11: I have posted a handout on the "short" method for testing LSL validity. I have also extended the deadline for HW #3 until next Wed. (11/9). Moreover, we will have only 6 HW assignments (not 7). See the updated schedule.
10/19/11: I have posted three important items: (1) the sample mid-term exam (to be discussed in Monday's lecture), (2) the Rules & Definitions handout for the mid-term (which will be distributed at the exam next Wed.), and (3) HW #4, which will be due in two weeks (on 11/2).
10/10/11: I will be allowing resubmissions of HW #2. These will be due -- with your HW #3's -- on 10/19/11. I will explain this in lecture tomorrow.
10/10/11: I have posted HW #3 — it is due on 10/19/11.
09/21/11: All homeworks must be turned-in via your dropbox on our Sakai site. HW #2 has been posted. It's due on 10/5/11. Make sure to consult the HW Tips & Guidelines Handout for advice on HW #2 (and subsequent homeworks).
09/18/11: My handout on "Testing Arguments for Validity & Soundness" has been posted.
